LinearDistance: Simple Distance Calculator App
LinearDistance is a free lifestyle app developed by magpad for Android devices. It is a simple application that helps you calculate the distance on the map.
The app was last updated on April 15, 2015, to rebuild for new Android phones with Google Maps Android API v2. LinearDistance now allows unlimited maximum markers, and you can set markers by single-tapping on the map. The app also removes markers when tapped and deprecates drawing circle function.
LinearDistance version 1.2 was released on October 15, 2010. This update changed the behavior of the "My Location" feature from resetting the marker to adding the marker. It also increased the number of markers available up to 100.
To use the app, tap on the map to draw markers. You can remove markers by tapping on them or remove all markers on the map with the reset button. The section button calculates the maker-to-marker distance, while the total button calculates the distance between marker(n) and marker(n+1). You can change the distance unit by selecting Meter (Metre), Kilometer (Kilometre), Mile, or NauticalMile.
